I am no Nigella Lawson but I do love a big celebration with good food and fancy dress parties. I haven’t always celebrated Halloween but, this year with having a little one who loves notifying everyone in the house that someone is at the door, I thought, why not?
My festive Halloween cake this year was:
- 2 boxes of ready mix red velvet cake
- 3 tubs of ready vanilla icing (I made a 4 layer cake)
- 1 tube of concentrated red food colouring
I had fun decorating a home made cake with some left over decorations I used for the front door from Amazon .
